Sherlock knows when people are hitting on him. He's way more sensitive than we all think.

just-sort-of-happened:

Since I realised how kind Sherlock is to Sarah when he unties her at the end of TBB, I’ve become obsessed with the idea that Sherlock is actually very often being very sensitive to others. Yet, we and John are prevented from seeing this because Sherlock can be quite arrogant and because he…

Money and courtship part two: why Sherlock takes Sebastian's case

just-sort-of-happened:

John comes in the apartment and Sherlock appears to be reading an email. But, the email is quite short he seems deep in thought so he’s not just reading it, he’s pondering if he’ll take this case or not. Due to his history with Sebastian and his lack of want for money, he’s not sure if he has…

Sherlock has no voice, sends clues to John

just-sort-of-happened:

In BB, we see that Sherlock is not blind to his attractions, like Sebastian, but he is mute. Like Ariel from little Mermaid he has given up his voice in order to be close to the guy he likes.

He sends what he thinks are obvious hints to John and John does not understand them.

Is It Platonic Now?

So, after reading so much johnlock meta, I decided to give my own contribution to the fandom.

In many cases I heard/read people saying that it is a gay fetishizem and that people who ship johnlock only love it because they think gay relationships are sexy and whatnot.

Well I’m here to prove all those bullshitters that it’s not true. I’m here to prove that this ship sails itself, fuled by the writers of the show, and it is not  just the vivid imagination of the fans.

What I did (and about to do for the rest of the episodes) is to take “johnlock scenes” that according to the writes are completely platonic, and replace either John or Sherlock with a female version of them. I didn’t change anything but that - the text and environment are exactly as they are in the canon.

This is ment to show that if this show was about a man/woman relationship it was okay for us to ship them because it was soooo obvious that they will end up together. But since its a man/man relationship it is more hard for people to see the obvious, and easier to judge the ones who are not as blind.
